August 17, 2009: Advising the New Jersey State Assembly Republican Policy Committee about Corruption

“White collar crime is more brutal than violence crime. The actions of one or a few corrupt public officials and corrupt businessmen affect the livelihoods of thousands of people. Treat them with the same disdain as we do treat serial killers because white collar criminals are economic predators. We are serial economic predators.” Listen to the audio tape in Bob Ingel's blog.

About Fraud Lectures

From 1998 to June 2009, I was available to speak to any government entity, college and university, professional group, and business group for no compensation or cost and I paid for all travel and lodging costs out of my own pocket. However, going forward, I will only be making free fraud presentations to government entities and universities. All other speaking appearances to business and professional groups must be compensated. Professional attendees are eligible to receive CPE and CLE credits.

My subject matter of my public appearances includes chilling straight talk about the mind, motivations, manipulations, and techniques of a fraudster. There are no apologies and self pity. That is not my purpose. My purpose is to place you into my mean-spirited mindset 20 years ago and show how vulnerable things still are today even with the changes that have been made. You will leave with a completely different perspective on how to combat white collar fraud.

You may videotape and record my presentations, and everything I say is quotable. Every word I say is "on the record." I stand behind every word I say. I encourage "hard nosed" challenging questions. You do not have to worry about my ego. I take all questions and answer them. I am solely responsible for the content of my presentation.

I hope that by publicly exposing my own past criminal misdeeds that others will learn positively from them and use them as an example of how to avoid future frauds.
