I take full responsibility for publicly documenting Letitia James’s alleged mortgage fraud using public records.
In February 2025, I found mortgage irregularities, conflicting state disclosures, and second home violations in public records on James’s Norfolk, Virginia property. I published them on my blog, White Collar Fraud. FHFA Director Bill Pulte read them and made a criminal referral on April 14, 2025. The FBI dug deeper. Lindsey Halligan got an indictment on all counts.
Democrats called it a “vendetta.” Abbe Lowell called me a “right-wing fringe blogger” in footnote 12 of his motion to dismiss – while citing my timeline of her fraud. Rep. Robert Garcia named me in his November 19 letter demanding Pulte’s communications with me. Sen. Elizabeth Warren and colleagues demanded a GAO probe on November 17, citing concerns about the same referrals my work initiated.
You named me. You cited me. Now face me under oath.
Now? Two grand juries rejected charges in one week – rushed presentations by Roger Keller, a civil AUSA whose last criminal case appears to date to 2011. Total silence since December 4. No updates. No filings.
As the New York Times itself acknowledged, “No judge has reviewed the substance of the case.”
If you believe my public records and actions broke the law, investigate me.
Subpoena me. I’ll testify voluntarily – under oath, no immunity, no conditions. I’ll bring every document. Walk you through the math impossibilities. Explain the four contradictory sworn statements the FBI found:
- To the bank: “Second home” for personal use
- To the insurance company: “Owner-occupied”
- To the IRS: “Rental property” with zero personal use days
- To New York State: “Investment” property
And this text to her accountant: “I do not want to take deduction. It looks suspicious.”
I’m a lifelong Democrat. I trained Obama’s DOJ on fraud detection. I committed securities fraud in the 1980s as CFO of Crazy Eddie – cooperated fully, served my time. No Trump ties. No payments. Just public records that don’t lie.
Congress: I’m not bluffing. Investigate me—under oath.
But fair’s fair: Letitia James joins me. Same room. Same oath.
Put up or shut up.
The truth set me free in 1989. Let’s see if it works for her.
